As part of a series of cultural activities to mark the ongoing 5th Asian Beach Games (ABG5), a ‘My Khe by Night’ programme was held at a beach opposite Da Nang’s Whale Temple near the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap and Vo Van Kiet streets between 7.00pm and 11.00pm on Friday.  It drew a great deal of attention from locals, and visitors from both home and abroad.

Organised by the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches, the programme featured various interesting musical performances, and numerous fascinating folk games such as a camp fire, water splash, breaking clay pot, balancing on a bamboo bridge, and bamboo dancing.

This is the fifth time that such an event has been held in the city.  It allowed the participants to have an opportunity to explore the beauty of local beaches at night.
