Following report from Operating Center at the meeting with Mr. Vuong Bich Thang, Gen. Director of Vietnam Sports Administration at the Headquater of Sports, about preparing progress of Chief de Mission Congress by June, 1st, 2016, everything is ready.

According to Operating Center, all preparing works have almost completed. Chief de Mission meeting (CDM) of the 5th Asian Beach Games (ABG5) will take place on Jun, 1st, 2016 in Da Nang with with the participation of officials from the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and  the Chief de Mission of more than 40 countries and region resisted to participate ABG5.
All the documents relating to technical matters to answer any questions from the delegates  were prepared thoughtfully by Sport and Technical Sub – Committee or other matters dealing to IT, communication ,…  have been met the OCA requirements for such great continental multi – sports event. Particularly, the sponsors for  gifts as well as promotional productions of ABG 5 within the Congress have been found.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vuong Bich Thang, Gen. Director of Vietnam Sports Administration stressed that in order to reach a great success of the Congress as well as getting a good impression from all participants, DABGOC in general and Operating Center in particular set up a plan to co-operate closely with local organizing Committee of Da Nang City as well as relating ministries, branches to assure of security, protocol, accommodation, ect.

In the meeting, Vietnam Olympic Committee informed that OCA required Vietnam to host badminton as demonstration outside official 14 sports and 22 events at the ABG5. So, OCA asked Vietnam to co-ordinate with Badminton Asia Confederation to set up the courses and other matters to organize the sport demonstration successfully.

Following the schedule, all participants will come to Vietnam from May, 30 to 31st, 2016. Representatives will discuss about protocol, competition venues, transports, ect…

CDM meeting is considered as impetus for Da Nang City to promote continuously the beauty of culture, and people of Vietnam to international friends, at the same time, develop tourism.
