Host FLC Thanh Hoa trounced Quang Ninh Coal 5-1 to win the first FLC Thanh Hoa football tournament trophy on Saturday.
Newcomer Ivan Firer opened the scoring and made his mark on the four other goals by Hoang Van Binh (a double), Pape Faye Omar and Le Quoc Phuong.
Quang Ninh's only goal went to Jonathan Bernado at the 56th minute.
With the five-star win, Thanh Hoa had 12 points to become champions.
Hai Phong came in second, followed by Song Lam Nghe An.
